The Blank Page: Creativity

The Blank Page: Creativity
THEREFORE BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]. Eph. 5:1. Since we are created in God’s image; we have supernatural creative power inside of us waiting to be discovered. If everything that God created was good, then what excuse do we have to fail to even try what God has put in our hearts?  For thus says the Lord-Who created the heavens, God Himself, Who formed the earth and made it, who established it and did not create it to be a worthless waste; He formed it to be inhabited--I am the Lord, and there is no one else. Isaiah 45:18 Media has made comfort and safety easier than ever. It is unfortunately easy for worldly entertainment to encourage living a pathetic life where we observe life instead of experience life. I think of people in the last 300 years like Isaac Newton, Noah Webster, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Alexander Graham Bell (Canadian J)and George Washington Carver, etc. who had creation follow them as they walked with God. This is missing in our generation in many ways. Sad to say, there are few people who are brave enough to walk straight toward the unknown and come out on the other side with something to show for it. This is where God comes in the picture, because frankly, without Him there’d be no picture. This subject needs to be engraved on our hearts once again and emphasized as a admirable way to honor the Lord, and not as selfish or irrelevant.
